OISE Cambridge Summer Law School

Our Summer Law School offers students a true taste of English legal study in the setting of a world-renowned university. Embracing the specialist knowledge of our legal English tutors, we have developed an extensive and detailed programme of study led by academics and professionals at the forefront of their field. The minimum level of English set for this programme is upper-intermediate (B2 CEFR) and you will be invited to interview before being accepted on the programme.

Course Description

Join your fellow students on an intensive and culturally stimulating experience.

There is a maximum of 8 students on each 2-week course, with 35 hours of tuition per week. The minimum age of participants is 18. The course will be held in the Arthur Lyttelton Room.

You will visit either Cambridge Crown Court or the Old Bailey London, to observe an active case. You can enrich your overall experience by attending our evening social programme.


You will stay at Selwyn College, in the heart of Cambridge’s academic community. Accommodation is in single rooms in the historic Old Court with breakfast, lunch and dinner taken in the magnificent oak-panelled Hall.
