iBT TOEFL (Test of English as a foreign language)
The Internet-Based TOEFL tests from an intermediate to advanced level. It measures the ability of non-native speakers of English to use and understand North American English as it is spoken. It is accepted for entrance to North American universities. The papers test: Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking. Students are given a numerical score- there is no pass/fail. GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test)
The GMAT is a computer adaptive test (CAT) intended to assess certain analytical, writing, quantitative, verbal, and reading skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. It requires knowledge of certain specific grammar and knowledge of certain specific algebra, geometry, and arithmetic. The GMAT assesses analytical writing and problem-solving abilities, while also addressing data sufficiency, logic, and critical reasoning skills that it believes to be vital to real-world business and management success. It can be taken up to five times a year. Attempts must be at least 16 days apart. Nearest exam centre: London. Note: OISE Cambridge can arrange preparation with the Maths component if required.
